I WAS PROVEN WRONG

I am only a nobody
I hope you readers out there will have the tolerance and patience to read my whole story. I am just a nobody to you, and you don't even know if I am creditable or stable. I know what you are thinking because I am an extremely suspicious person like yourself. In fact, I am a very private and careful person who never likes to reveal her identity and who thinks before she acts. My fiance can vouch for that.

So, why am I telling you strangers out there my private and intimate story? Because that's my nature to help people, and that's the way it has to be done.

Like I said, I am just a nobody to you. In fact, I am a nobody from Taiwan 28 years ago. I was an English major in college in Taiwan, and after that came to the States to pursue a Master's Degree in Library & Information Science. I worked as a reference librarian for two years, got married and had two wonderful boys. When the boys got older, I went back to school to get another Master's Degree. This time it was a Master of Science in Accounting. So I worked as a tax accountant for two CPA firms, and later for a large international financial firm for 12 years.

As you can see I am a very ordinary and normal person. I was never book-smart or street-smart, but I never worried about that because I was always just trying to get by and stay happy. Yes, staying happy is very important to me. However, I am always very logical, analytical and persistent. I like people; I enjoy music; I love dancing. Oh, I forgot to mention I was an atheist.

To be exact, I was kind of leaning toward Buddhism because Buddhism to me was more like a philosophy which teaches people how to deal with life. The point is I never believed that there was just one God. However, I did respect all religions and people's wanting to believe. So I thought maybe there was a different God or Buddha for each different ethnic group or religious type. My fiance can tell you how many times I tried to convince him there wasn't just one God, using my reasoning, logic and analyses. Then it happened to me...
