I WAS PROVEN WRONG

Saturday, January 21st, 2012
But guys, it's not over yet. There is more. Since I was foolish and ignorant, I “naively” turned right back to my computer and tried to finish what I was doing, because my heart was focusing on the wedding stuff.

Anyway, next morning we were traveling down to NJ. Snow started to come down, but it wasn't bad, really. However, I felt uneasy. So I packed some blankets and extra water and food. Now please note this, I have been living in upstate NY for the past 28 years, so I have been through many bad winters and snow storms. As much as I have always heard people say to pack blankets, extra food and water in the truck just in case you get stuck somewhere, but I NEVER did so until that morning of Saturday, January 21st, 2012. The interesting thing is the snow was not really much, only 3 or 4 inches at most.

Since I felt uneasy, I asked my fiance to pray together. (Remember I only prayed, just in case there was really a God, and it couldn't hurt.) Another interesting thing is, at first I prayed for us to drive safely, but later I felt it was NOT enough. So I prayed some more, but this time I prayed “for people not to bump into us”.

So, after half an hour on I-87, the road condition was fine. There was not much snow and most of it melted already. Driving was not a problem at all. Then all of a sudden, the car in front of us lost control and hit the guardrail to the right, and spun around coming down to hit us. There were debris from that car flying toward us and the car was heading toward us FAST as well. Quickly, my fiance moved our car to the left lane and avoided the hit. That car ended up hitting the other side of guardrail on the left. It turned out there were 3 young men in that car. They didn't seem to know what happened or how the driver lost control, but at least we knew none of us got hurt at all, not even a scratch. I right away remembered how I prayed that morning "for PEOPLE NOT to bump into us"...
